The Remnant Table — An Ekklesia Collective
Core Role
Your Host is not:
-
Just a teacher
-
Just a facilitator
-
Just a content creator
Your Host is:
-
A gatherer of people
-
A clarifier of identity
-
A future-oriented shepherd
-
A space-holder for transformation
Our founder has established a sacred, facilitated community for people rooted in Messianic faith who long for holistic formation, strengthened identity, and shared discernment for the future God is unfolding. This is not a course, a church, or a content platform. It is simply put, a TABLE, that all are welcome to take a seat at. Come, Draw Near!
Why include the term Ekklesia?
The Remnant Table — An Ekklesia Collective is an assembly of “the called-out ones”.
The word, Ekklesia, is a Greek translation of the original Hebrew word qahal. We believe the use of the term Ekklesia will help us bring to the light and reveal that which has been hidden because of tradition. Many believers today mistakenly associate this Greek word to mean ‘’church’‘- a building, simply because it has been traditionally translated as ‘’church’’ - as is the tradition of man. There’s a well-known Italian proverb that says, to translate is to betray (traduttore, traditore).
In the Septuagint (LXX), the Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures, the Greek ekklēsia translates the Hebrew קְהַ֖ל (qahal), which means ‘assembly’ or ‘gathering.
Simply put, the word "ekklesia" means "the called out ones", an "assembly", a “gathering”. Yeshua (Jesus Christ), when he refers to the Ekklēsia, He was speaking of a people with a mission, “a calling”. In Matthew 16:18 when Yeshua said, “I will build my church”, “my Ekklesia” He was not talking about a building which is what so many people tend to equate the word to mean; He was talking about people: about YOU.
The Remnant Table — An Ekklesia Collective is...
a gathering of people like YOU who are invited to come take a seat at the table.
THE REMNANT TABLE - AN EKKLESIA COLLECTIVE
Community Promise
At The Remnant Table, you are promised a sacred, facilitated space where you will be known, encouraged, strengthened in Messianic identity, formed holistically, and prepared — as we discern together how to live faithfully in the days ahead.
We gather not to rush, perform, or strive, ...
but to be shaped in community, rooted in ancient faith, and attentive to the future God is revealing.
